A Tempo Livre – managing entity of the Multiusos de Guimarães, hosts the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championship during the month of September.
This year, the competition is divided into two distinct phases. The World Age Group Competitions will take place from September 12th to 15th, while the highly anticipated World Championships will start on September 19th and end on September 22nd.
In a bid of global dimension, in which Portugal was the winning country in the process, the President of the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation Luís Arrais, included a special thank you to Tempo Livre and to the Municipality of Guimarães in his speech at the opening ceremony of this celebration of Gymnastics: “I would like to thank the Municipality of Guimarães and the municipal company Tempo Livre, for the support they continually give to national gymnastics.”
