Registration for the participating teams, in the Traquinas SUB 09 (Born 2015-2016) and Petizes SUB 07 (Born between 2017 and 2019) categories, must be completed by February 29, 2024.
Yesterday, at Multiusos de Guimarães, the presentation of the edition of the Liga Neno for the year 2024 took place, in the presence of the Sports councilor of the Guimarães City Council, Nelson Felgueiras, the representative of Tempo Livre, Pedro Ferreira, and from Vitória S.C., Armando Guimarães. The event, dedicated to young talents in children's football, promises moments of sportsmanship, fun and learning throughout the various scheduled days and tournaments.
The provisional competition calendar foresees two competitions in March, two in April and two in May, including a goalkeeper tournament and a women's tournament. The final is scheduled to take place at the D. Afonso Henriques stadium, during the month of June.

This year, Liga Neno also has three training activities planned, covering topics such as “Training for Children and Young People”, “Psychology” and “Ethics and Fair Play”.
The “Well Played” Ranking, a constant in Liga Neno that rewards the winning club in each level, will have its regulations provided in due course.
At the end of the Neno League, each athlete will receive a participation medal, while the clubs will be awarded a trophy for each level. More than a sporting competition, the Neno 2024 League is a tribute to the fundamental values of sport and a moment of happiness for the hundreds of children who participate, following the legacy left by Neno.
