A Tempo Livre will organize the III International Walking Football Congress, in May 2024, a project promoted by Rutis (Senior Universities Network Association).
The city of Guimarães will be the stage for this initiative, which will host international speakers and various initiatives related to the implementation of the sport in Portugal.
The announcement was made this sFriday, during the II International Walking Football Congress, a moment in which the relevance of this sport and its potential for growth were once again proven.
In Portugal, the Walking Football Portugal project, promoted by Rutis, already covers more than 700 senior male and female athletes, and around 40 teams.
Remember that this modality was implemented by Tempo Livre in the city of Guimarães in 2019, integrated into the “Vida Feliz” active aging program, in partnership with Vitória Sport Clube.
